Sr. Audit Manager
Job Description
Core responsibilities
- Audit planning and execution: Develop and implement audit plans, manage the audit process from start to finish, and ensure timely completion.
- Team leadership: Supervise and mentor junior auditors and staff, assign tasks, and provide training.
- Risk and control assessment: Perform and oversee risk and control assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.
- Financial analysis: Analyze financial statements, identify issues, and draft audit reports and recommendations.
- Client and stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and communicate findings to management and other stakeholders.
- Compliance and reporting: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and assist in preparing reports and statements, such as the Annual Governance Statement.
- Strategic contribution: Contribute to the development of audit strategies, business development, and the achievement of the organization’s wider corporate goals.
Key skills and qualifications
- Extensive experience in audit, risk management, or accounting.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various levels of management.
- Deep knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulations.
- Working with IND AS
